Every new year and on birthdays many people make plans for healthier life and changes. Comparing oneself with what is generally accepted as ideal causes many of us to lose motivation.
This is why it is best not to compare yourself to anyone or anything, but to simply imagine yourself next year, same time.
You can start the change as soon as you become aware of the need or desire to change.
Make a special time and space for yourself.
Determine which of your beliefs, behaviors and habits are helpful and which are not helpful.
What really makes you happy?
What gets you out of bed in the morning, what makes your eyes shine with joy?
Start something beautiful
Stop planning for perfection, start with O.K.
Stop struggling, flow with it…
Start something beautiful…
Don’t miss any opportunity to walk in daylight.
Walk 40 minutes each day on a fast pace.
Find what resonates with you and do it with experts, could be qi gong, tai chi, yoga, pilates, functional training, resistance training…
Make your move to get rid of your tobacco habit.
Improve your lung capacity while establishing your mind-body balance with breathing exercises.
Qi gong, pranayama…
Stay away from processed foods, avoid white flour, packaged goods, alcohol.
Eat fish 2-3 times a week.
Pick seasonal vegetables and fruits.
Make room for nuts, legumes and berries in your diet. Don’t forget water.
Sleep long enough that you feel rested when you wake up.
If you do not feel rested after a night’s sleep, visit a sleep expert.
Music and movement is very good for your brain and cardiovascular system.
Paint, sculpt, write, sing, play…
We are all part of something bigger than each one of us and we are all connected to each other.
Feeling love and connection will help you to show compassion, forgiveness and gratefulness for yourself and for others.
Stay in the moment
If your mind is constantly preoccupied with the past or the future, your body is alone on autopilot. You will miss what is going on around you; you will not be able to feel the life that surrounds you.
Learn practices that help improve body-mind connection.
Meditation, qi gong…
Respect your body
Don’t wait for sicknesses to take hold. Get professional help to assess your health and to plan the steps that will guide you to your optimal health.
Start something beautiful this new year. This new day. Today.
I wish you healthy and happy days with full of love.

“Do something, something beautiful.
Is it too hard?
Then say something beautiful
Then see something or write something beautiful.
You are not able?
Then start something beautiful.
But always something beautiful.
Because every human, is at the age of dying…”
